DRY RIBBON FISH RECIPE
Ingredients-
Dry ribbon fish (also known as belt fish) – 1/2 bowl cleaned and chopped,
Onion(chopped) – 1 cup,
Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp,
Red chilly powder – 2 tbsp,
Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp,
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp,
Turmeric powder- 1 tsp,
Salt– As required,
Refined oil – 100 – 150 ml,
Tomato(chopped) – 1 cup
Procedure-
1) Take pieced cutted ribbons and wash well.
2) Heat oil in a pan.
3) Add fish pieces and fry until light brown.
4) Add onions, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, mustard seeds,
turmeric powder and coriander powder.
5) Add salt and mix well.
6) After a short while, add chopped tomatoes.
7) Mix well and fry until the oil gets separated.
8) Add little water and cook until it is done
9) Serve with Rice, Roti.
